Never liked Amber Rose.
Never will.
She's just a semi-pretty woman who shaved her head and attached herself to a popular male artist and has become semi-relevant for the time. (Oooh, original. It seems as though people have forgotten how common it is for women to do this ... minus the shaved head.) She looks shitty with hair anyway.



It's hard to believe (and laughable ... really laughable) that people reference her as a style icon and 'role model'. It takes more than being arm candy and having a semblance of a sense of style to be projected into icon status. Everytime a celebrity gossip blog creates a post about her, floods of comments commend her on her style and originality. I just don't get it.

I don't give a fuck about shoes, fashion, hip/'dope' new shit that's being talked about everywhere, hot new 'artists', michigan music, 'dope emcees', or any other bullshit that you might see on another blog. This is simply a girl with a little too much time on her hands posting things that she likes/doesn't like. It's not overcomplicated. I don't look at other blogs for 'cool things' to talk about. There are plenty of drafts about nonsensical bullshit that was just on my mind.

People are so annoying sometimes. If your blog mentions fashion, it has lost me already. Clothes just aren't all that interesting to me. We wear them, they get dirty, they end up on floors when you're fucking, the end. That's just me, though.

Eagerly, I sit and wait for Kid Cudi's official album release. He's popular for being able to translate his thoughts and emotions into his music and each of his songs reflect the disdain of a boy growing up without fitting in between any set parameters. That can speak to that latent (or budding) teen angst inside of all of us - the desire to be understood conflicting with people consistently questioning our beliefs and 'style'. What the fuck am I talking about anymore? No idea.



Even if this album is a disappointment or a flop in terms of sales (who really buys CDs anymore?), he'll always have a place in my heart and his first mixtape will always have 'heavy rotation' in my iTunes.

I'm developing a habit of reading books before the movie adaptation is released. Last week or so, I read Lovely Bones amongst other books and this week, I read Push. Both books are depressing, but riveting and involve you emotionally. Push is bittersweet, but a good read nonetheless.

Up there's the trailer for the movie adaptation. I'm actually bracing myself for disappointment (as now with Lovely Bones) since both books are so graphic that it'd be hard to capture the emotions in the book. Both of the trailers feature additional parts that weren't in the book to amp the intensity of the film. Whuteva!
